Review:
The fourth book in the Chris Matheson series is just as good
as the first three! It can be read as a standalone but once you read one book
in the series, you will want to read the rest. A cold case from Chris's past
about a missing college student comes back and the Geezer Quad jumps on the
case. I love how the author combines the right mix of Chris's personal life
with his wife Helen and their children, with the detective work needed to work
the cold case. A constant in this series is Chris's dog, Sterling. Sterling is
a former police dog and is very protective of Chris. Sterling and Chris have a
special bond and battle over the car radio!
This is a series you will fall in love with if you enjoy crime stories with a mixture of family life. I hope the author writes more books about Chris and Helen because I would love to read them!
Selling over half a million books worldwide, Lauren Carr is
