Every Step You Take by M.A. Hunter
About the Book:
Run for your life...
This year's London Marathon is my last chance to win the
final place on the Olympic team. The months of rehabilitation after my injury
will feel worth it to cross that line.
But I wasn't expecting the man who's been making my life a living
hell to be there. Last I knew, my stalker was behind bars, but he says he's
going to be at the race watching.
I have 26 miles to figure out whether it's him, and what he wants, or I could lose more than just the race.
Review:
I loved this book because of the layout. The female
protagonist is telling the story as she runs the London Marathon. The chapters
are titled with the mile she is at. It also goes back about 6 months and gives
background on the terrors she’s been going through with a stalker. As a runner
myself I can’t imagine doing what she did while running a marathon (taking on
the phone, almost getting in accidents and still keeping pace with the rest of
the group) but I suspend my belief and enjoyed the run. I really enjoyed this
book and can’t wait to read more by this author!
