Today I have the first book in a new series to share with you. Lauren Carr's Sam Mackade PI Mystery series starts with The Prime Suspect.

Review:
I’ve read Lauren Carr’s books before and loved them and this book is no different.

The book opens with a cast or character (in order of appearance) that is super handy to reference back to (plus for physical books!) when you are learning the characters. I love the main character, Sam, and can’t wait to read more books in his series. Sam is a former police officer turned private eye. One thing I love about him was the relationship he has with his trained dogs. He talked with them and they are part of the story. Wonderful book!!!!
