Title: "The Unconventional Path to Writing Faith-Based Children's Books: My Tale with 'The Girl and Her Noble Steed'

A Tale of a Curious Hindu Kid and Jesus: The Early Years

Picture a girl from Chennai, India, with dreams so grand that her big eyes couldn't contain them. That girl was me, born into a Hindu family but found by Christ at the tender age of 9. The adventure of my faith journey had just begun.

From Bollywood Dreams to the Big Apple: The Winding Road

I grew up in a media household where there were always cameras and scripts around. After attending a Catholic convent school, I pursued economics for my undergrad, then ventured to New York for a diploma in screenplay writing.

Lights, Camera, Action: The TV Production Years

For over two decades, I danced through the world of television production, waltzing with talented folks in various countries. But something was missing. I liked what I did, but I didn't love it. It felt like the plot was meandering, but there was a subplot, a deeper calling, tugging at my heartstrings.

Epiphany in 2019: The Turning Point

2019—the year when my life took an unexpected twist, and I embraced God's purpose for me. Until then, I lived life on my own terms, crafting my narrative. But this year, God took the director's seat, and my life transformed into a story of divine proportions.

Cue the Spotlight: My First Book

Fast forward to March 2023, and I had my 'aha' moment—to write Christian faith-based children's books. I published my first book Alive: An Easter Story. My mission is to share God's love and the power of faith with young readers. I wanted to instill in them the belief that they are overcomers, that God is for them, and that nothing is impossible when they have faith.

Plotting Miracles and Adventures: The Birth of "The Girl and Her Noble Steed"

"The Girl and Her Noble Steed" was conceived from a vision to craft a children's book brimming with adventure, miracles, and the Word of God. It's aimed at teaching kids that in tough times, they can turn to God's Word, and He answers every prayer. Maybe not always as expected, but always with their best interests at heart.

A Dash of Laughter and a Pinch of Hard Work: The Book's Essence

My goal? To make children giggle, empathize, and believe in their boundless potential. However, I also wanted to stress the importance of hard work in reaching their dreams. After all, the journey to realizing dreams is an adventurous tale in itself.

A Tale of Compassion and Respect: The Heart of the Story

"The Girl and Her Noble Steed" isn't just a children's book; it's a faith-filled narrative that inspires compassion and respect for animals. The story revolves around Ofe, a young protagonist, and her noble steed, Zo—a donkey with a heart of gold. This dynamic duo represents the unique bond between humans and animals, teaching kids that animals have feelings and deserve kindness and respect.

Heroes in Disguise: The Story's Character Lessons

Throughout the narrative, Ofe and Zo face challenges and dilemmas, demonstrating qualities like patience, understanding, compassion, and selflessness. These qualities, like hidden treasures, lie within each child, waiting to be discovered and shared with the world.

Faith, Courage, and Friendship in Every Chapter: The Heart of the Story

This book boldly embraces its faith-based components and underscores the significance of prayer in our lives. It goes a step further by emphasizing stewardship, instilling in children a sense of responsibility not only toward one another but also toward the creatures that inhabit our world. Within its pages, it sparks the idea that the flame of courage is just a strike away. It's a lesson in empathy, accountability, and compassion—an unwavering message conveyed through the storytelling pulpit of a children's book.

The Unlikely Hero: Zo's Message

In "The Girl and Her Noble Steed," Zo the donkey challenges stereotypes and reminds children not to judge based on appearances. After all, Zo may be small in stature, but his spirit is as fiery as a racing champion and as boundless as an elephant's heart.

Spreading Contagious Kindness: The Mission of Laughter

Much like Jesus, our characters embark on a mission to spread the contagion of kindness, one hearty laugh at a time. Through their quirky language, amusing antics, and compassionate hearts, they inspire young readers to be not just good but uproariously good.

Bridging Humor and Faith: The Author's Mission

As a devoted children's author with a strong Christian faith, my mission is to craft stories filled with humor that not only captivate young readers but also impart timeless insights about Christ's love, hope, and the adventures of life. Within these tales, faith is a seed of boundless potential, ready to flourish in extraordinary ways.

The Moral of the Story: The Grand Finale

In conclusion, "The Girl and Her Noble Steed" is more than just a children's book; it's a testament to the power of faith, compassion, and the transformative impact of storytelling. Twists and turns, difficulties, and epiphanies marked my journey from Chennai, India, to becoming a children's author in America, the land where dreams come true. But my driving force has always been the desire to help children grow in the love of Christ. Through humor, adventure, and the Word of God, this book aims to inspire young hearts and minds, showing them that with faith, nothing is impossible, and with hard work, they can achieve their dreams. So buckle up for the adventure of a lifetime—it's a faith-filled, quirky, heartwarming escapade!
