Tiki Time: Book Giveaway

About the Book:

Tiki is an honest, fun, and adventurous boy full of integrity. Lately, his behavior has been too rambunctious and he needs guidance. He meets a magical spirit who gives him the guidance he is looking for and much more. The spirit grants him magical powers and sends him on a quest to save the village of TikiTown from the evil King Lauia. Come join Tiki and his friends as they go on a magical time-traveling journey to save TikiTown. Tiki and his friends must find King Lauia, take back the sacred magical Toku Mask, and return the mask to Tiki Town to unfreeze the town. If Tiki doesn’t succeed, TikiTown will remain frozen forever…

Review:

This is a fun book to read because you turn it sideways to read it. Ideal for ages 6-8, kids will love reading this book in a unique way. The story is inspiring as Tiki helps his friends find their strengths in order to help him on his quest to save the town. A great lesson for kids to learn that each person has their unique strengths and by working together you can accomplish more than on your own. The illustrations are perfect for the book. They take up half or more of the page with the words at the bottom. I love this format because the reader sees the picture before the words and can quickly imagine the story. A wonderful book for all children!
