Review:
I love finding new YA series as my kids are in the YA reading age. As fans of Harry Potter, they would love this series. The books combine magic, Celtic mythology, and friendship. In the first book we are introduced to Kelcie, an orphan going on a school trip and we can tell right away something is going to happen with her. The first few chapters start the book out action packed and i was hooked right away. It has a Harry Potter vibe with a student unaware they have magical powers and reluctant to explore them. That is where the similarities end and the book takes on a life all its own. The witty writing style and fun attitude of the characters is a joy to read. Each book takes them on a new adventure that will delight any YA reader.
