The Cerberus Affair by Charlotte Valentine

Welcome to my first tour for KatieandBreyPA Tours! The Cerberus Affair is Charlotte Valentine's debut book and it is thrilling! It is about an ex-investigative journalist, Catherine Preston and her journey to seek justice for her friend. Catherine receives an email from her friend at the same time she finds out he is dead. The email shows that he was on the trail of corruption and was afraid for his life. In Greek mythology, Cerberus is a three headed guard dog of the Underworld. His job was to keep the dead from leaving. Interesting tidbit to set the tone for the book :)

Catherine immediately pulls you into the story. High power people and big money corporations can spell trouble. She picks up the investigation her friend gave her and drawn into a dangerous world. There is a soft side to Catherine as the story is not all about the investigation. Catherine does not have a good history with men but her friends are determined to turn that around. When she meets someone that she starts to care for she learns he has secrets. I enjoyed this story because of the mixture of the thriller and the romance. It is rumored that another book starring Catherine is coming and I will be in line to read it. Catherine is such a powerful character and I would love to see what is in store for her.
