The Trap by Evie Hunter

Happy Tuesday! It is the start of a new week and also pub day for many books including The Trap by Evie Hunter. Callie is having the time of her life with her job and her relationships. Then she gets a mortgage letter in the mail, which is strange because she does not have a mortgage. Her perfect man is not so perfect and Callie wants her money back. Along the way Callie meets Jack, who is perfect man’s business partner. He’s been taken as well. Can they team up to catch him?

I’m happy to be part of Rachel’s Random Resources blog tour for this book. Be sure to check out the other tour stops as well!

Review

I was intrigued by the blurb and had to read the book. Once I started, I wanted to read until it was finished. There is action throughout the book. The book has romance, revenge, unsavory characters, love, friendship, and mystery. What more could you ask for in a book? The plot is such that you think you know what direction the book is going and then it flips you on your head, in a very good way!

Author Info

Evie Hunter has written a great many successful regency romances as Wendy Soliman and is now redirecting her talents to produce dark gritty thrillers for Boldwood. For the past twenty years she has lived the life of a nomad, roaming the world on interesting forms of transport, but has now settled back in the UK.
