The Bridesmaid by Nina Manning
Coming to you today with the next addition to Rachel's Random Resources blog tour, The Bridesmaid. I love discovering new authors and Rachel's Random Resources has brought so many new authors to me. What drew me in was the beautiful cover. The dark background behind the pink flower is so eye catching you can't help but pull it off the shelf to see what it is about. I promise if you like books full of secrets, you won't be disappointed with this book.
Book Description
‘Promise me? If you hear any secrets, never tell me. That would make you a most treasured friend. More than a friend really. You’re almost like a sister to me…’
Your best friend….
From the moment they met as children, Sasha knew
that beautiful, wealthy, and confident Caitlin would always be her absolute
best friend. Sasha would do anything to make Caitlin
happy.
Even keep her darkest secrets…
The years have passed, but their friendship remains. And when Caitlin announces she’s getting married there is only one choice for the role of bridesmaid.
Sasha will make sure Caitlin’s wedding is as beautiful and perfect as she is. Won’t she?
Your worst nightmare?
But Sasha is growing tired of always being in Caitlin's shadow - always the bridesmaid, never the bride. And as the big day approaches, cracks begin to appear between the two women. Secrets and lies swirl between the two friends like confetti. Both of them are hiding dark secrets, both of them are lying.
Could the secrets that once bound these two friends, rip them apart for good?
Review
This is an intriguing book about two friends from different backgrounds. Caitlin is rich and Sasha’s parents work at Caitlin’s parents estate. Despite the differences they become friends. Friends that do not always appreciate each other.
Sasha is the primary narrator in this book and the timelines vary from the now present, 2-3 months ago present, and childhood. Sasha is helping plan Caitlin’s wedding to their children friend, Chuck. There are a lot of secrets in this book. They are revealed throughout the book and it makes for an intriguing read!
