Who Do You Trust by Kirsty Ferguson

Welcome to my stop on Kirsty Ferguson’s new novel. Who Do You Trust?  This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I was not disappointed. The book looked very interesting and I am thrilled to be part of the BLOG tour for this book. A huge thank you to the publisher and Rachel’s Random Resources for inviting me to be a part of the tour. All the opinions in the review are my own.

Review

I loved this book! I was hooked from the beginning and did not see the ending coming!

Dana has a beautiful little girl and another baby due in a few weeks. She is stressed and wants more help from her husband. At a family barbecue she realizes that her daughter does not have her favorite toy. She goes home to get it but never makes it out of the driveway after hearing a thump. She finds out she hit her daughter and there is no way to save her. Immense guilt engulfs her. She wants her daughter back but she has a new baby to think about.

I can’t imagine going through what Dana does. Her strength is amazing. At times is may not seem like it but she does the best she can while everything falls apart around her.  The people she thinks are friends do not act like friends and her husband just wants her to move on. They do not understand why she was still grieving. When Dana met someone at a support group that ‘gets’ her, she does what anyone would do and becomes friends with her.

I loved how the author unwound the story. I started to feel something was wrong but the ending was completely unexpected!

I read this book in two days and could not put it down! I hope you enjoy it as well.
