Review

First the book cover drew me in. I know you should not judge a book by its cover, but it helps if it looks pretty, right?

The book opens with a scene a lot of mothers can relate it. It's Mother's Day, and her sons actually remembered it was Mothers Day. The text she sent them the day before could have helped, but still they remembered! Her day quickly changes when her soon-to-be ex-husband calls and wants to take the kids on a vacation. As she agrees, she wonders what she will do while the kids are gone. Her friends solve the issue by sending her to LA to find herself again. What begins is a memorable journey.

In this story each chapter listed a song under the title. I loved this because it gave a little hint to the chapter. It was as if I was reading a book to music!

I have not read What Now? so I probably missed out on a lot of the story. Some sequels can be read as stand alone books with no problem, but this is one you want to read the first book before diving into this book. Despite that I loved the writing style and storyline. The book is funny and a light read.
