The story begins when twelve-year old Cora is found in a train yard badly injured. She had been at a sleep over with her two friends Violet and Jordyn and they decided to go to the train yard. Who hurt Cora and why? The story follows the investigation as it unfolds.

I love Heather Gudenkauf’s books and was excited to read this one. This book met all my expectations and is an amazing book. As you follow the investigation different suspects emerge and you really wonder what happened. Let me tell you, I did not see the ending coming! The writing is very interesting as you hear the story via text messages, computer chats, police interviews, and narration. I loved the different styles. I would highly recommend this book. It is another hit!
