Ode to a Pug: NOT the VET

If you have a pet you know what a challenge it is to get them to the vet sometimes if they are anything like my cats. Pug from the beloved Ode to a Pug series does NOT want to go to the vet. Adventures With Allie and Friends is meant to utilize curiosity, creativity, imagination, and social interaction skills as Allie takes her readers on various adventures throughout her community with each book as a different adventure for Allie and her friends.  What inspired this story? Throughout my 20-year career as an educator, I was asked to write small social stories and create activities for various teachers and students. I realized I had a passion for using creativity to support both teachers and students. It was these teachers and students who helped me discover my passion for writing and creativity.
